Sölden es una de las estaciones de esquí mas conocidas en Austria a nivel nacional e internacional. El dominio esquiable se encuentra situado entre los 1350 y los 3340 metros de altitud, con la mayor parte del mismo por encima de los 2000 metros.Sölden es conocidad por acoger los campeonatos del mundo de esqui y por sus 150 kilómetros de pistas (15 azules/69 km, 14 rojas/51 km, 7 negras/28 km y 1 itinerario de de esquí fuera de pista de 2 km. 34 remontes (8 telecabinas, 18 telesillas y 8 telearrastres) con una capacidad de transporte de 70000 personas a la hora garantizan una jornada de esquí sin colas. Además su moderno sistema de innivación es una garantía de nieve al cubrir el 67% de sus pistas. Sölden tiene dos aéreas de esquí situadas en los glaciares de Rettenbach y Tiefenbach con un total de 36 kilómetros de pistas.
