Vista general

La estación de esquí de Kaunertal se encuentra situado a unos 100 kilómetros de Innsbruck (1h15) y es facilmente accesible por carretera. La estación cuenta con dos parkings, uno situado junto a la base de la estación y un moderno telesilla desembragable con el que accedemos a la zona del glaciar, y otro en la estación intermedia junto a la zona de servicios y el Restaurante, a 2750 metros de altitud. El dominio esquiable se encuentra situado entre los 2150 y los 3160 metros. La estación cuenta con 38 km de pistas (9 azules/20 km, 2 rojas/12 km y 1 negra/6 km) y 36 km de itinerarios de esquí fuera de pista. Kaunertal fue el último de los glaciares del Tirol abiertos para la práctica del esquí/snowboard y cuenta con un moderno sistema de transporte formado por 8 remontes: 2 telesillas desembragables de 4 plazas, 5 telearrastres y un telecabina de última generación de 8 plazas con asientos calefactados. El glaciar de Kaunertal tiene un moderno Snowpark donde los amantes del Freestyle de todos los niveles podrán disfrutar de una jornada practicando sus mejores trucos.
